[Obligatory chauvinistic comment]
You're not even funny any more. Have you hit puberty?
Well, I'm in my early twenties, which has become the new adolesence for the United States. If I do seem a little immature, it's because it's been a slow day at work, and I'm rather annoyed...
Oh wait, were you talking to iEye or me?
I don't think you know what chauvinism means.
> ...chauvinism...
Horse something.
@Thalium
I suppose I could just go to dictionary.com, pull out one of a thousand definitions, and then paste it here. But any old smhuck could do that. And I'm not "any old smhuck." I'm a writing smhuck. I derive the definition of the word by the way it is used.
So I will tell you this - when a guy tries to pick up a girl with a cheesy one-liner, he is usually referred to by the opposite sex as a "Chauvinistic Pig."
And there you go. Hope that's enough honest for you for one day.

You should probably stick to using the dictionary. Your definition/interpretation is pretty bad: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Chauvinistic
:-/
I'll just use "sexist" next time.
And there WILL be a next time.
I'd connect to her WiMAX any day.
Eeeew, That is sick!!!

"On a global scale, WiMAX may be folding under the pressure of LTE,"
Nortel is going bankrupt for entirely different reasons - so that link is kind of cherrypicking and misrepresentative.
The other link is even more laughable - LTE is JUST getting ratified while WiMAX has been around for a few years and has actual market presense. Yes, I know, not in the US (well, actually yeah, US too) - guess what - the US is hardly the world - by that logic, GSM should be falling under the pressure of CDMA, DVB-T should be falling under the pressure of ATSC.
LTE is more of the same - locked into providers; chained to the existing cellco system.
WiMAX is the way to go - all the advantages of LTE, but not beholden to anyone. Anyone can set up a WiMAX network.
I'm bewildered as to why some of the Engadget staff are so chained at the hip to the cellcos.
Stockholm Syndrome, I guess.
The cell phone companies are our friends. They wouldnt do anything to hurt me. Gosh i cant wait till i can renew my contract with them next year, we are going to have so much fun.
MEH!
But... WiMAX is the future of the internet! I had dreams about similar concepts!
It's true. This is awesome.
You guys slay me.
From Internet Tough Guys to Internet Romeos, we all know that they both have lots of acne, live in their parents basement and TRY to order wine online.
Hold up, hold up! Wimax is what Clear sells, right? We just got this in Portland/Vancuver/Battle Ground....and the top speeds are 6/4mbps (home/mobile). How are they gettting up to 16mbps? Servicing 1/4 the population that is serviced here?
This sure pisses me off as a WIMAX customer in Baltimore. I'm dealing with an unreliable 3mbps, and I live at one of the highest points in the middle of downtown.
Oh, that's nice, the card adapter's slick to.
Thanks for the info. I signed up.
i had to check the comments to see some horny thoughts.
WoW ..... the model is cute
Of course she is.
have you ever seen an ugly model?
Last I checked, beauty was required for modeling. o_O
For a Japanese model, she is okay. But I'll like to have her personal DNS address and email anyway....
in Moscow, Russia, the mobile wimax already works. i use it, actually, but the speed is not as high as japanese promise... but still, this technology kicks ass!
