Wooden 2GB thumb drive doubles as Post-It Notes dispenser
What can we say? This is a 2GB thumb drive elegantly ensconced in White Oak. If that weren't enough, this convenient and portable package not only allows you to listen to some of your favorite Grateful Dead bootleg MP3s on your laptop at work, but also ensures that you always have a supply of tiny little Post-It Notes on hand. What better way to begin your workday in the soul-shattering plastic corporate world than popping in a somewhat eco-friendly wooden peripheral and rocking out to Picasso Moon? You should really check out the version from their October 25, 1989 show in Miami. This guy goes for ¥2,680 (about $30).

Imagine getting stuck in an elevator with this thing and deciding to write your life story on those tiny ass post-it's.
Ayman @ Feb 5th 2009 11:29AM

Everything made of wood is eco-friendly? I wouldn't ask the trees about that ...

So everything made of wood is eco-friendly? Don't ask the trees about that ...
Patriks7 @ Feb 5th 2009 11:45AM
Or just get a 8 GB stick for 20€ and a pack of post its for less than this.
Patriks7 @ Feb 5th 2009 1:43PM
I carry my iPhone and iPod Nano EVERYWHERE I go.
What's your point?
Tommo @ Feb 5th 2009 11:47AM
That thing didn't just get hit with the ugly stick, it IS the ugly stick.
mos @ Feb 5th 2009 11:55AM
This USB stick is quite useful because ......
(A dollar per good post)

Paper is too thin. Index cards ftw.
meztup @ Feb 5th 2009 12:17PM
A butt-ugly combination of analog and digital storage... like a laptop with a built-in spiral notebook. Oops. I might have just stolen his next idea.
Precurse @ Feb 5th 2009 12:21PM
I can' wait until people start calling into their tech support line saying: "I was writing on my post-it note and now the USB portion of my post-it pad is stuck in my computer!"
Perk @ Feb 5th 2009 12:23PM
Someone found 2 ways to kill the trees!
saul @ Feb 5th 2009 12:25PM
I have a better idea. USB Bottle Opener! With my new netbook/ Solid State Disk its a snap to use the entire netbook as the handle to my bottle opener!
Look_Around_You @ Feb 5th 2009 12:59PM
This is one of those stupid products that are made for only three purposes.
1) Get featured on blogs.
2) Get sold in "trendy" hipster boutique shops for about $30.00.
3) Get published in little read, overpriced design magazines.
Step 1 is complete...
Andrew @ Feb 5th 2009 1:09PM
now that's dumb
BigD145 @ Feb 5th 2009 1:38PM
This will not work in a pocket or on a lanyard. Is it supposed to just sit on your desk like a log?
MyHedIzFed @ Feb 5th 2009 2:23PM
My sentiments exactly. Imagine putting this thing in your pocket and rubbing the postits off. Then you're left with a really ugly 2gb oversized thumbdrive that cost $30....Atleast the prices aren't quite as outrageous as those skull key usb drives are.
Agent .25i @ Feb 5th 2009 2:07PM
Snap.
Brian Sexton @ Feb 5th 2009 2:13PM
This is simultaneously baffling and delightful.

i pooped my pants, can i borrow a stick it note?
Willis @ Feb 5th 2009 4:28PM
Heh, I think I'll keep saving my notes on 3banana instead of tiny post-its. Who uses post-it notes anymore anyway?
ED @ Feb 5th 2009 5:52PM
Looks like the connector could easily snap off.
BrentBlack @ Feb 5th 2009 7:12PM
I prefer the Moon from 04-28-89. Plus, anytime The Wheel comes out of Drums > Space, you know its a good show.
FILA @ Feb 5th 2009 9:05PM
actually that would be a really good idea for Post It to come out with, im surprised nobody has ever thought of that sooner
