What we're watching tonight:- Fox (720p) presents the 2009 Sprint Cup Budweiser Shootout at 8 p.m.
- TNT (1080i) premieres Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story at 8 p.m.
- TLC (1080i) airs My First Home at 9 & 9:30 p.m. followed by Real Estate Road Test and Deals on the Bus
- NBC (1080i) brings Saturday Night Live at 11:29 p.m.
- HBO (1080i) premieres AVPR Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem at 8 p.m.
Dont know if its in HD but UFC Fight Night good card tonight on Spike at 9. And theres a boxing match on Showtime HD 9.
The UFC event is definitely in HD.
Someone made a for-tv-biopic for Ben Carson? Interesting. I read his autobiography when I was in eighth grade. Teacher marked me down for including the book's statement that there was apartheid in Australia in the summary portion of the book report. She claimed it was completely non-factual.
She was full of shit of course.
Anybody know what happened to "Game Show in my Head" on Saturday night? I loved that show, and now it appears it is gone...was it canceled, because CBS still has it listed on their website?
You may be right on that one. Sounds more likely.
I still feels it's a wee bit of propaganda/sales talk though. No studios (except possibly Chinese ones) would support this format. So their only market could then be China.
So if they want to make a profit out of this it would be on the home market. Not very likely that they would make much more profit out of that.
