This Mii is a criminal
The sketch artist at the Kanagawa, Japan police department must've been on vaca last week -- local authorities there decided to use this shady-looking Mii to try and catch a man suspected of a hit and run. Crude, yet effective -- although something tells us a man with no arms who can still swing a tennis racket might just stand out on his own.

Update: The local police are apparently saying they're not responsible for the... uh, "mug shot," so, you know, mad props to the good samaritan out there doing their part to bring this case to a close.

I got it. Funny
That's awesome
Nice site, looks interesting.
For more tech and electronic www.engadget.com
I think we have just found the most pointless and recursive spammer in existence.
I see what you did there ... sort of.
Someone delete this post! I can't keep the world from imploding much longer!!!
I want to see a criminal mii parade then the cops and show up and chase them away!
...Dad?
but are Roger Federer or Raffa any good at Wii Tennis ?
1. Old news.
2. If you bothered to do some fact checking, you will learn that this seems to be a prank. On the original link there is update at the bottom that says they've contacted the authorities about the sign and
1. They do not usually create a sketch for hit and run cases
2. They would have not used Mii
So this is just a prank and nothing more (the link states that the image is too good to be photoshopped)
Innovative use of technology. The Mii system is capable of producing good likenesses of people Compared to the cost and skill required to use identikit packages.
What would be worthy is to follow up on the outcome. And as far as engadget being 'late' in reporting. Well it's obvious most sites today just repost other sites.
Engadget has the best pic i've seen. What I wouldn't mind is if sometimes a reposting site did some more journalism. Maybe call the police station. Get some more info. A quote on why.
Why?
Cri-mii-nal!
Look for someone with a "Who, me?" expression.
For some reason, I'm slightly bothered that you didn't take advantage of opportunity to say "Who, mii?"
I am sorry that is bothering you. Coffee?
None for me, thanks...coffee's actually part of my problem
Really cool, see if they could catch that guy
Then It'd be a very Funnii case.
Too Awesome! (wonder if the 360 avie's will be next?...)
Why is the Mii saying "ooh" like some kind of stereotype?
could someone translate that japanese sign?
hahaha
