Update: It should be noted that this is out of Best Buy's inventory system, which -- as we've seen in the past -- has a tendency to totally bone the contract-free pricing. Have faith that it'll actually be a bit less.
I'm sure that sign is wrong, there's no way a 1 year upgrade gets it for free and a 2 year upgrade has to pay $299.
Thinking those must be reversed on accident. We have other shots, so we've good reason to believe the $149.99 price is legit.
I like how if you're renewing your contract for 2 years, you'd be paying $299 compared to $149 on a new contract.
Unless the document is terribly incorrect.
No matter how you look at it, it doesn't make sense!
$650 no contract
$300 1 year extension (saying that they're just flipped)
$250 1 year contract
$150 2 year contract
$0 2 year extension (again, saying that they're just flipped)
If anything, it'd be free with the 2 year contract.
LOL, Are you sure this is real? Cause I find it hard to believe that a 1 year contract would make a phone less expensive than a 2 year contract... Hehe :)

3G is still in its baby state and runs much slower than a EDGE. It will take couple of years to stabalize and in the mean time 4G would be out. I don't care if it has 3G or not...all i care it has WiFi and GPS and its sleek and nice...
Daaamnnn $649.99 that can not be right... Was waiting for this phone for about 3 months but there is no way I am paying that money..
Might as well just buy one from ImportGSM for an unlocked, Non-Carrier Branded (!!!), BB 8900.

question is....do you think that this story and the rumors of the BB "Gemini" (leaked earlier today) are in anyway related??? Seeing the Gemini out as early as possible would be saaaweeet.

Agreed. I'm kind of disappointed that I'm forced to renewing my contract for 2 years, and the best they can do is the 8330.

I purchased mine from t mobile over the phone 2 year contract was 200$ after rebate.
those prices aren't rite or t-mobile owes me 50 bucks.

lolz at the BBY Mobile pricing signage tiles leak! At least they've locked down RSS better... I have to password authenticate like 6 times every time I want to check stock on an item sheesh! I hope whomever snapped this isn't too invested in keeping their job, with ETK access logging and exif data tags this should be an easy track-down and pink-slip, not that they have that kind of manpower at corporate anymore...
I just called T-Mobile. It's 500 without renewing the contract. I'm four months into a two-year plan with a crap sony ericsson, and they told me it would cost me 430 to get the 8900, if I signed for another two years. That doesn't sound like 149.99.
If it's actually 49.99 with a new two year contract, I should cancel my contract (200), and sign a new one. The T-Mobile rep said she couldn't tell me how much it would be with a new contract, she said she won't know until Wednesday.
pfft. alltel (if you buy through best buy) is only$45 for the curve 8300. Way better. i'll stick to my nationwide and 10 circle. Have you seen chad?
