Nokia 5630 XpressMusic gets demoed on video

We've already gotten the official rundown on Nokia's slim new 5630 XpressMusic handset, but nothing completes a cellphone launch like a video of the phone being flipped around atop a makeshift backdrop, and Nokia's Conversations blog has thankfully come through in this case. As you can glimpse above, this one includes a dual-LED flash to complement the 3.2 megapixel camera, and the rest of the specs are certainly none too shabby for an S60 candybar, including HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity, an included 4GB microSD card, stereo Bluetooth and, last but not least, a 3.5mm headphone jack. Head on past the break for the video, or hit up the read link below to check out a higher quality version.

I hate it when people play music (especially techno) to an otherwise good video.
On the contrary, the background (trance, not techno) was a very pleasant track, even if not hugely notable. What was the horrible mistake was where they made the phone play something on top of it. Ugh.
ugly
It has 600mhz ARM11 processor. That's something for a phone that doesn't cost a fortune. If current Symbian phones with 369mhz CPU are blazing fast, this one is faster than your mind.
Although, to be completely fair, a lot of things are faster than his mind.
Rocks, for example, bricks, other silica based products. Wood.
This phone sucks. It will never beat the iPhone.
i really hate to feed the troll...err...both of them in this case... but he's asking for it.
im not your friend, guy!
hahahahahah what an idiot !!!
If iPhone was a good phone, Apple wouldn't hire jerks like you and iEye for $0.65 to promote the stinking iFone.
fuck apple.
This troll sucks. It will never beat iPhone.
@skyblaze:
Your comment isn't much more intelligent than the OP but you get high ranked?
Why don't we just ignore the trolls and not feed their sadistic hunger?
why waste intelligence on that douche? he probably wouldnt understand anyway.
LOL. iEye totally cracked by 199€ Nokia phone (which actually beat's iPhone in every way except display is only QVGA and it's not touch screen device).
Yeah, it even has GPS!
Oh, wait... *look through specs*. Oh, come on...
Did I say iPhone 3G? ;-)
Lovely and simple music phone, with a usable keypad. Win.
funny how those "ipod lovers" always try to compare every, I repeat, every Nokia phone to the iPhone and always say "woohoo, it's never gonna beat the iPhone"
seriously, that's so lame, are you guys afraid or what?
in case you haven't noticed, there are quite a few other user categories which Nokia targets other than "iPhone lovers", so whatever...go on love your iPhone, maybe make love to it!
I really like this new Nokia, it's slim and comes with a lot of cool features for a great price! What else do ya want?
So what's the problem then. You don't like your own mom?
...And I wonder if it's really a insecurity issue. They think they have bought the best phone there is but as all aren't buying same kind they feel like they might have made a mistake.
So now they have to trashtalk every phone that comes out as every other kind phone bought is another notch to their insecurity.
Why does everyone always compare phones, can't you just be happy that there's a market for more than one phone?
i just realized something ...
next week is the mwc right? ieye is going to be everywhere spreading his propaganda.
i cant wait
This thing will survive a drop.... the iPhone's glass screen on the otherhand....
Hey Don, the rest of the specs are "none too shabby" for pretty much anything, including the lauded jesusPhone.
Wow! A handset that plays music. I am so NOT gonna get me one of those even if it does have 3.2 megapixel camera.
Unfortunately for most companies, every handset is going to be compared to the world's finest standard of style, usability and total coolness. The ALMIGHTY iPhone. And they all pale in comparison. So what else is new?
And as for surviving a drop...I've seen a few iPhones dropped on trains, subway platforms, store floors and they were just picked up, tested and used and they didn't have fractured screens. Anyone who buys an iPhone should just get a silicone jacket for it, anyway and treat it like the gold it is. NYC is filled with iPhones and the users are on focking cloud nine.
Lol.. all you guys.. stop comparing this to the iphone. Atleast it doesnt haf limitations as the iPhone OS does.
I like the phone. +1
not bad... not great either!
I really like this phone because it has xpressmusic behind its name and i already have nokia 5320 xpressmusic and i really loved it. I like to buy this phone soon. Thanks for sharing nice information.

True, this is an excellent phone for music lovers but I wonder how it ranks against the newer Nokia Music Phones like Nokia X3 and X6.
