BlackBerry Curve 8900 coming to AT&T this month, Pearl Flip in March?
We've had sightings of BlackBerry's Curve 8900 running on AT&T before, and now comes word from a Boy Genius Report tipster that the pairing will be made official this month and the handset's SKU is already popping up in the carrier's systems. Additionally, the Pearl Flip 8210 is rumored to be making its debut on the network sometime in March. BGR expects the prices to be somewhere around $200 and $100, respectively. We can't say we'll be surprised if the Curve finds its way to AT&T, but we're excited at the thought of finally having a carrier-independent matchup between it and the Bold.

I still don't understand why they would release this without 3G.
2 words: Consumer and Battery

It's Blackberry. They leave out features almost as much as Apple.
I've had one on Rogers for almost 3 weeks and have yet to be in a spot (time/place) where I wished I had 3G. I have WiFi almost everywhere and it flies.

because most non-techy business types are using the blackberry primarily for email... battery life is key for road warriors.
Engadget, I am disappointed in you. Your photo editors missed a perfect opportunity to shop Jason's mask onto one of those faces on the phone screens. Simply unacceptable!
Look closer...
look closer on the flip...
@Alex Padilla
Look closer :)
ITs on the clam shell phone in the small circle on the right of the screen - you missed it!
cool, Jason is part of their "Fav 5"
They did, to the left of "Sarah"
Either you're being sarcastic and really subtle about it, or you missed Jason in right hand phone, top friends, left most icon. His icon is slightly tilted down.

Why are my comments to Alex ending up under Epsilon?
Why so many phones on the front page? Slow news day? I had to check the page to make sure I wasn't accidently on Engadget Mobile.
He's very well camouflaged.
Hint: Pearl Flip, left side.
Unless they simply edited the photo after you posted, it's there. Left-most face on the Pearl Flip.
LOOK CLOSELY
Jason is in the MY FAV 5 !!!!!
They did...
It's on the flip. The left face.
look again!
they did. look at the phone on the right. the face on the very left is Jason.
I suppose on at&t it will be unlikely to have the T-Mobile MyFaves feature on the main screen, though.
WTF with the comments system???
This was intended @Alex Padilla
WTF is up with the comment system?!
My comment was meant for Alex Padilla aswell.
yeah me too.
I wish Jason was in my fave five :-(
Subtle, very nice.
Is it coming to Verizon and when? Anybody know?
AT&T won't dare to be behind, they knew there some out there that were waiting for the 8900, maybe some AT&T customers who dont have the best 3G coverage. Keep up the good work AT&T.
Give us the Nokia E71x, the Nokia N97, and heck bring the Android over too.
Come on Verizon....step it up
8930 plzkthxbye!
Gez, AT&T gets the Iphone, the Bold and now the new Curve . . . Verizon gets the broke, busted and can't be trusted Storm . . . where's the love for Verizon?
I think Michael Myers could kick JJason's Arse, but we'l never know, they both live forever!! LOLz...good catch on the favs all, I for one, missed it!!
