We knew there was a good reason for keeping that US Weekly subscription around... besides awesome celebrity news, what do we have here? Hey! That's the Palm Pre being offered up in a swag giveaway for nominees attending IFC's Independent Spirit Awards. The ceremony is being held on February 21st, but, as the ad says, Anne Hathaway's Pre will be available "by July."

I sure hope you guys understand that even the magazine doesn't know when it will be available. Therefore, saying "by July" covers their bases when Palm has specifically said "sometime in Q2 2009" which is anywhere from April 1 - June 31. Don't jump to sensationalist conclusions yet people.

Shut the fuck up. Your probably just pissed because the Pre can do everything the iPhone can do only do it better and with a physical keyboard, and that Palm found a way around all of Apple's patents that limit any phone company in making better phones.

I remember when Time magazine said that the first iPhone, "will make other phones better". Well others are trying, but Apple hasn't let anyone expand off its patents. Until now. That's what I call revolutionary.

You idiot, I own an iphone and love my mac pro, but the Pre seems to be a BETTER device, the first time I saw it at CES my iphone felt so antiquated, I will get one as soon as they are avail. I will dump my At&t service, it's crap anyway, my girlfriend has Sprint/Nextel and has way better service than me.
