Canon's latest batch of cameras get the hands-on treatment

Canon certainly isn't cutting any corners with its pre-PMA batch of digital cameras, and the folks at PhotographyBlog look to be doing their best to keep up with them all, with them now churning out some hands-on looks with just about all of 'em, plus a couple of Canon's new lenses for good measure. Those include the SX200 IS pictured above, which they describe as "bigger and chunkier" than its rival Panasonic DMC-TZ7, as well as the "sleek and sophisticated" A2100 IS, the "toy-camera-like" D10, and a number of other compact shooters that stay a bit closer to their predecessors in terms of appearance. Of particular note to more serious photographers, Canon was also showing off its new TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II lens, which is replacing the 17-year-old original model, and its new TS-E 17mm f/4L lens, which is apparently the world's shortest focal length Tilt-Shift lens with full-frame 35mm coverage. Hit up the link below to check out the whole lot, just be prepared to do a bit of digging.

So where's the new TX-2??
I have a TX1 before. but the body/button/lcd_panel is too small.
Then I buy a Panasonic TZ1... TZ1 is good, but slow focus and too noise.
Then I buy a Fujifilm S2000HD... I found it's too big for me, and poor image quality.
I am looking for my new camera... Panasonic TZ7 looks very good, but really expansive.
My new target is SX200IS,, I think US$350 is a good deal for me.
I got to say that the SX200 IS is a very interesting model. Folded optics giving us 12x zoom on a super compact camera. And its 720p HD video support is pretty high-bitrate too (at around 16 mbps I think). If only we had an option for 24/25p frame rate too, more precise focusing, and shutter speed control. Then this thing would fly as a secondary, video camera.
The Panasonic DMC-ZS3 is gonna eat this Canon for breakfast I'm afraid. Movies at 720p in AVCHD Lite, Dolby Stereo & probably similar photo quality.
Canon, you just got F'ed in the A.
Couldn't they have used a pink color on the plastic of the two "lips" on the lens cover? So it doesn't look all gray?
BTW, that lens cover looks very much like a vag
I find it confusing that you assume a real life girl could possibly be the reference point of this person.

That doesn't look like folded optics to me.
All I'm seeing is a 403 error.

@Samboini
That comment was WAY over the top ugly . . . even for Engadget.
the canon eos 40d is still better -

It goes without saying that a dSLR is going to be at the advantage overall. P&Ss still have their place though.
I'm not photography expert, but why are the lenses so small. I mean sure they're smaller on P&S than on dSLR, but the N86 Nokia announced has a 22mm wide lens.
A large part of the reason is the sensor. By using a smaller one, you don't need as much glass in front of it. Of course smaller sensors have their drawbacks too... poor low light performance for one thing.
Make every shot a powershot.
I am fans of Canon, is cheap (in comparison with a Nikon), bring nice features, uses decent processor, uses conventional memory and take good photos.
