MSI X-Slim X340 hands-on
Engadget Chinese managed to score some face time with MSI's new X-Slim X340 at a pre-CeBIT press event today, and we're seriously impressed -- just like the Atom-based X320, the X340 weighs just 2.8 pounds with a four-cell battery and 1366 x 768 13.4-inch screen, but it's got more horsepower with a ULV Penryn chip and GMA4500 graphics with HDMI out. Not bad, especially if this thing comes in under $1000 like we've heard -- we'll keep an eye out while you check out the rest of the pics in the gallery.

Why do all your words start with capital letters?
here come all the sexually suggestive jokes about the asian electronic model jokes.
I bet she likes it "hands-on".
As I mentioned above...
I wonder if she supports multi-touch.
yea, there's no resistive touch
Am I the only one who actually went straight from the picture to the comments and forgot to read the article?
When someone mentioned HDMI I had to scroll all the way up and read what was it all about
...
Ok, I am the only one....
No. The marketing sure works!
And Engadget just baits us with these pictures.
The girl from the neck down looks like a robot. Her arm looks incredibly fake.
I guess that's how they achieved the "weighs just 2.8 pounds with a four-cell battery" goal. Anyway, I'd still like to score some face time with her ;)
looks like engadget Chinese beat you to it
testing
1, 2, 3.
so are you.
any pricing on the girl?
Ah SU3500 is a single core cpu -- weak
I came here expecting something, and guess what... I wasn't disappointed.
WTF are you talking about? What are you insinuating about being
related to Africans or the Vietnamese? Is that supposed to be an
insult of some sort? Not to mention the fact that the Han Chinese are
one of the oldest peoples in the world and don't fall conveniently
into your categorizations. It's funny that you try to disparage the
Chinese language by comparing it to Vietnamese even though
pre-Colonial Vietnamese was basically based on Chinese. Of course the
two will be similar. Also, the various ethnic groups that migrated to
Japan mainly originated from southern China and southeast Asia.
I'm curious, why are you so hellbent on
trolling every post with anything Chinese in it?
Bleh, this was a reply to chineseneglet's post.
Maybe he didn't make the cut for the racist forums.
okey i want both ....
pc and ...... :-)
The reasons I hate laptops: can be stolen, can be lost, you can drop it and break it.
you gotta stop putting Japanese and Korean together man.
Japan shares very limited views/ethnics/culture/etc with Korea.
If you are not Korean, then maybe you need a little more history lessons.
If you are Korean: perhaps you don't need get Japan involved with your pathetic attempts on symbolically denying your inferior complex.
Korea is what it is - your childish insults on China only confirm what you fear and despite...
(oh and Just for the record, I like Korea and I despite the Chinese government and the results of their education).
Oh and uh since we are on the subject, FREE TIBET!
Anyways, if this thing is under 1000, it's a must for me. I love my Msi wind!
It's alright, Vanessa. I'm sure some of those apple stickers would work.
Back on topic, the laptop seems pretty weak spec-wise than what one would expect, anyone else agree?
