Bezos is terrible at PR. Every question or comment Stewart made could have been answered better than Jeff did. Hell, I would have done a better job. This segment just made the Kindle looks stupid.
Actually, the device makes itself look stupid. The reason for it to be sold out in its first incarnation was only due to the more money than sense crowd, technophiles and celebrities. Why lay down $350 for a blank device that only works when you spend more money on it. Each book costs $9.99? For its first use it actually costs $360! And as far as the device reading the book for you - get a freaking audio book and listen to it on any audio device anywhere!
