Why they hell does it need two regular DVI ports and a mini DisplayPort? Who the hell needs to run a Mac-Mini with that many physical monitors attached? A: nobody. Don't most people buy these things to run them headless? Does not compute.
Because the 24" Apple Cinema Display is only available with a mini DisplayPort connector. And for what it's worth, yes the 24" Cinema Display is a better monitor than the Dell 2408WFP, for example. The Cinema Display has an S-IPS panel, the Dell has an MVA panel, which is not as good.
You know it isn't often that people complain about additional ports available. Imagine a scenario where I have two monitors that connect via DVI. Or imagine another scenario where I have apple's cinema display connected via mini DisplayPort, as well as another monitor via DVI.
