Any piece of technology with Swarovski crystals embedded in it is a no-go in my book.
Seriously, what is the point in a gaudy addition that raises the price of something? I guess when people have the money to burn, they don't have to worry about whether or not what they are buying is actually aesthetically pleasing or not.

agreed, you don't even see these when actually USING the mouse so...is it just there to try and impress? clearly

"...whether or not it's aesthetically pleasing or not"
Durrrr, bad grammar FTL! :(
gerrrg @ Mar 2nd 2009 5:22AM
Yeah...now might not be the right time to show so much bling at the office.
HTPieces @ Mar 2nd 2009 5:49AM
I give five days before sweaty paws turn that leather into slimy nastiness.
Ghen @ Mar 2nd 2009 8:49AM
This is for CEOs that don't actually use their computer, even though its the most expensive PC in the company.
Str1ker @ Mar 2nd 2009 6:02AM
It looked really good, till I saw those lame crystal crap. Pass.
JerseyBricklayer @ Mar 2nd 2009 6:23AM
I know right , if it wasn't for them I would buy one just because its so damn sexy looking otherwise.
Uncontrol @ Mar 2nd 2009 6:53AM
Yeah, I want it without the crystals. Stylish mice aren't exactly common. :(
f3rg @ Mar 2nd 2009 6:22AM
Lose the jewels, but give me the leather buttons!
JerseyBricklayer @ Mar 2nd 2009 6:26AM
I might be able to deal with only 2 crystals. Right below the wheel, for dpi up and down.
JerseyBricklayer @ Mar 2nd 2009 6:28AM
Wait...'Reliable 2.4G'.... lol.... never mind.
Chris @ Mar 2nd 2009 7:38AM
IMO, looks better without the crystals!
Eldiablo @ Mar 2nd 2009 8:11AM
Bares more than a passing resemblance to my Logitech MX Mouse, only with a symetric design, rather than being off set, and covered in leather and crystals. Id be interested to try the leather one, but I'd have to jimmy the 'gems' off. Perhaps I could give the Missus a 'diamond' necklace.
Burke Hamblin @ Mar 2nd 2009 9:08AM
I assume Swarovski crystals are supposed to be impressive, but with them being attached to tons of generic, junky peripherals and phones, they're starting to seem more cheap costume jewelry than anything high-end.
wrabbit @ Mar 2nd 2009 9:51AM
I like the leather mouse - it looks elegant and luxurious without screaming "douche bag" ... except for those crystals. They totally ruin it. They add nothing to the mouse, you don't see them anyway, but chances are you feel them rubbing uncomfortably against your palm.
Dan Fruzzetti @ Mar 2nd 2009 10:38AM
God.. Leather and faceted crystals. Two things I don't want showing off to the world where my hands have been. Think about how disgusting this will look after a couple months of continuous use, especially by a sweaty hungry gamer who never leaves his station.
bryan @ Mar 2nd 2009 11:20AM
and how, exactly, is this thing supposed to be comfortable?
Seph2409 @ Mar 2nd 2009 12:08PM
This is vulgar, not to mention impractical - wouldn't the leather get a bit sweaty and grimy?
Wwhat @ Mar 2nd 2009 4:16PM
I think people have used leather with some success the previous few thousand years, of course there's leather and there's leather (and there's fake leather)
moody @ Mar 2nd 2009 12:47PM
beutiful
Major4Play @ Mar 2nd 2009 5:52PM
cough cough Logitech.
Microsoft have been selling leather covered mice for years very nice they are too.
