Hands-on with ASUS' galleria of Eee PCs at CeBIT
ASUS broke out a stable of Eee PCs here in Germany, and we were on hand to have a look at all of the freshest ones. The pivoting, swiveling T91 (or T91GO, as it were) courted us most heavily, though we will admit, even our pansy man hands felt like they were going to twist the swivel screen right off. The touchscreen functionality seemed decent enough, but the spongy display left a bit to be desired. The 1000HE was also on display with its purported 9.5 hours of battery life, as was the WWAN-packin' 1003HGO. See for yourself if our word ain't good enough.

Looks nice!
I hope the price point stays at the right level.
On a similar note, the Sony Vaio P costs clost to 2 500 Australian Dollars over here. Daylight robbery!
TO CJ:
I'm not actually replying to your comment. The Engadget comment system just incentivize it over making a seperate comment, which would just get buried buy everyone else getting there comment higher up by replying to the first comment.
Where is the T101H?, will it come with an SSD? and lastly, any price & release information?
yeah looks gr8 and especially the e lol
If the 1003HGO had SSD instead of HDD, then it would be the perfect netbook...
Still bummed this isn't multi-touch, and where is the T101?
Does anyone when will T91 will be available?
I really hope this is finally multi-touch.
Anyone know who is providing the tablet functionality api? Wacom or something Asus conjured up ? Most tablet reports never really dive into actual tablet usage and feel...
Can you please elaborate on decent enough? I am interested :)

When is Asus going to wise up and offer the best color combination ever: shiny deep maroon top, flat black inside and bottom half just like the DS Lite special edition that I own?
The better question is: when are they going to offer the best function combination ever? Intel GN40 chipset, Atom 280, slim form factor, awesome battery life (6+hours), multi-touch touchscreen. Make it more expensive, but at least make it, damn it.
