Cool8800C handset says KIRF on the outside, "Player Games" on the inside
Despite the incredible popularity of videogaming, there's still a stigma attached by many to those who play them, thinking gamers fat or lazy and generally not good people to be around. For anyone sensitive to those criticisms, the Cool8800C offers an escape, looking like a perfectly normal imitation of Nokia's 8800 on the outside, but, like a transformer that runs illegal ROMs, quickly changes into a portable gaming console in disguise. Flip it open to reveal a full D-pad and four input buttons plus a 2.8-inch WQVGA LCD for playing emulated NES games or watching analog TV, or snap it shut to make use of its VGA camera and 900/1800MHz GSM connection. No, it's not likely this one is destined for release anywhere too far outside of China, meaning you, dear reader, are probably going to have to come out of the closet with that gaming addiction of yours already.

These companies come up with the neatest stuff, usually better than the originals. I dont know why they dont become "legit" and sell their products outside of china.
mainly because they would like to avoid all the costs that are associated with product testing and complying with other regulations
I completely agree. 95% of kirfs are exactly that, copies. however there are these 5% of kirfs that are simply brilliant. The only real 'kirf' about them is that they look like another device. Throw a dime a dozen smartphone platform on this, throw in a powerful processor (624mhz perhaps), spend the money on a bit of product testing, debugging, and quality components, and sell this beast for $500-$600.
Make it with a digital tuner that will work in the US and I think it will be a big hit.
Or it coule be outfitted with a split qwerty, like the NOKIA E70 http://www.nokiausa.com/find-products/phones/nokia-e70/ , only better somehow.
Those gaming keypads look like they have serious breaking potential once you really start mashing 'em up during games...pretty neat idea though, you'll have to give them that..
Finnaly a phone with gaming buttons. Why dont more companies understand this. What good is a fucking iphone if it doesn't even have buttons on it. I want an NES emulator on my phone, and you need buttons to play games. And no onscreen multitouch buttons do not work, at all.
i cant wait to player game
hey im not overweight, yes i play video games, but how many people you know that have beaten FEAR 2 in a day and a half??????? i was cracked out on Go ape energy drink, and kicking almas ass !!!
