I love the, "so what is the x is really expensive, if you just [insert very complex work around or sub-par alternative] you don't have to worry about it". It's so much easier for some people than ,"yeah. they screwed us". Aside from that, I doubt VERY seriously that this article is true. I don't buy for a second that a ms would intentionally make a product unavailable, for a short time just to introduce another one, later, at a similar price with colors. Especially considering the weird "I got the 'X' limited edition in RED" mentality that allows for a somewhat higher price. You have people buying 'the best' system and then the 'special best system' for more. Why would they allow gaps between 'special best system's and only have middle of the road systems available while you wait for the next special one. Not gonna happen.
