Engadget HD Giveaway: South Park Season 12 Blu-ray / DVD packs!

We've been anticipating South Park's Blu-ray debut for months, and now that the moment has finally arrived, we're delighted to be able to give away a couple of those very sets that have pranced around in your mind all winter. We've got two Complete Twelfth Season Blu-ray sets as well as two DVD sets (with Digital Copy), and the editions will be given away at random (though feel free to shout out your format of preference when commenting). Be sure and look past the break for the full release copy, complete with details on bonus features and the like. Oh, and be certain to tune into Comedy Central HD on March 11th to catch the premier of Season 13 in glorious high-definition. All's that required to enter this here contest is a comment below, but be sure to read very, very carefully the fine print below before you do so. Cool? Cool.

COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment® and Paramount Home Entertainment will release "South Park" in Blu-ray for the first time ever. "South Park: The Complete Twelfth Season Uncensored" Blu-ray and DVD arrive in stores nationwide on Tuesday, March 10 and will also be available at http://shop.comedycentral.com.

In the 12th season, the boys are consumed with helping a pop princess who's down on her luck, negotiating a truce for striking Canadians and preventing giant rodents from destroying the world. One landmark episode follows the new president-elect from his acceptance speech to his first official duty as Commander in Chief.

"South Park: The Complete Twelfth Season Uncensored" Blu-ray and DVD features all fourteen episodes in an exclusive three-disc set. The collection includes the following bonus materials:

* "Six Days to South Park: A Day-by-Day Making of the 'Super Fun Time' episode of 'South Park'"
* "Making Boobage: behind-the-scenes footage and interviews of the people who made 'Major Boobage'" happen
* A behind-the-scenes look at "About Last Night" (available in HD on the Blu-ray version)
* The ever-popular "commentary-minis" by co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone

Launched in 1997, "South Park," is kicking off its 13th season on Wednesday, March 11 and remains the highest-rated series on COMEDY CENTRAL. "South Park" regularly airs on Wednesdays at 10p.m. and repeats Wednesdays at 12a.m., Thursdays at 10p.m. and 12a.m. and Sundays at 10p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 3a.m.
