He did it. Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple and nerd superhero, just made his debut on Dancing with the Stars. As you'd expect, the surprisingly nimble Woz enjoyed himself without concern of mockery. But as one judge put it, "overall it was a disaster." Hey Woz, you're still a nerd hero to all of us.

But in all seriousness, he is pretty nimble for a portly fellow I have to say, and I thought he did fairly well all things considered (especially compared to some other trainwrecks on the show)
Ya it was funny, but you gotta give him props for having a good attitude and treating it as fun.

This man is a hero amongst men.I love that he just doesn't care and does whatever he likes to do.

if you read his book you notice he never really cared about the riches at all but just the fun of innovating and trying new things.
That's easy to say after you have ALREADY MADE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
He never cared. As much as people like to think otherwise, Jobs is the business man whereas Woz was always about development. He is all about having fun and this is before Apple was founded. Read iWoz, its a pretty good book and an eye opener of sorts...

HUGE respect to Woz, that was awesome. IMO he did just as great as could be expected. Anybody who has ever danced knows that dancing like that really isn't quite as easy as it looks (although not extremely difficult either) but I guess you nerds have never even tried ;)

I think that judge spent 2 months coming up with the Teletubby line. Just when I thought Woz had no coordination he did that ground knee slide thing.

He's actually Italian--he's Bruno Tonioli. He's a gigantic, psychopathic tit who's apparently been shoehorned in as the needlessly negative bastard of the judges--that's normally the job of Craig Revel Hallward on the British version of the show, but he seems to be usurping that role.
Pretty stupid that I know this about the show but hey, for each series that program's always on our telly and honestly it's not bad compared to a lot of other shows.
Do people who watch that show even know who he is..?

Show the man some respect. He's most certainly not a ball room dancer but he gave it his best shot and the most astounding part was the way he took all the criticism.
If anything, I would ridicule him for his half baked one liners. He'd be better off sticking to the dance routine than the comedic overtones.
Anyone that is as rich as him, can freekin dance anyway he wants and people would still cheer...
But as they say, the point of the show is making great dancers out of nothing, so maybe he can pull it off.

I find it hilarious that American judges find it impossible to say anything negative about people, even if they are terrible.
That said, Woz is brilliant, and I hope he stays on the show.
Woz definitely isn't a dancer, but he was very entertaining. He had more fun out there than any other "celebrity"
For have never done anything like that before plus weight and age the guy did awesome. And being able to smile while getting comments like that, nice guy.......

Well... I guess this is how it goes with technology luminaries. Be awesome and important from a very young age on, develop specifications and frameworks that are not only established within a very short span of time but provide the main base for many significant forthcoming developments and remain industry standard for countless years. Remain active for several decades, then still dare a foray into a new segment, be very successful there too...
...and then apply for American Idol.

I like Steve Wozniak aka Woz - he's got a lot of heart, even if his rhythm isn't perfect. Having worked with him before, he is definitely one of the funniest and most genuine people I've ever met. Yeah, it was pretty obvious that Karina was doing all the work for him. He got into the spirit of the thing, though, and he was a little more energetic than you would expect from a doughy man nearing his golden years.
