Engadget's recession antidote: win a Pentax Optio W60 waterproof camera!

This whole global economic crisis, and its resulting massive loss of jobs got us thinking. We here at Engadget didn't want to stand helplessly by, announcing every new round of misery without giving anything back -- so we decided to take the opportunity to spread a little positivity. We'll be handing out a new gadget every day (except for weekends) to lucky readers until we run out of stuff / companies stop sending things. Today we've got a Pentax Optio W60 waterproof camera on offer. Read the rules below (no skimming -- we're omniscient and can tell when you've skimmed) and get commenting! Check after the break for some photos of the prize!
Special thanks to Pentax for providing the gear!

The rules:
- Leave a comment below. Any comment will do, but if you want to share your proposal for "fixing" the world economy, that'd be sweet too.
- You may only enter this specific giveaway once. If you enter this giveaway more than once you'll be automatically disqualified, etc. (Yes, we have robots that thoroughly check to ensure fairness.)
- If you enter more than once, only activate one comment. This is pretty self explanatory. Just be careful and you'll be fine.
- Contest is open to anyone in the 50 States, 18 or older! Sorry, we don't make this rule (we hate excluding anyone), so be mad at our lawyers and contest laws if you have to be mad.
- Winner will be chosen randomly. The winner will receive one Pentax W60. Approximate value is $329.
- If you are chosen, you will be notified by email. Winners must respond within three days of the end of the contest. If you do not respond within that period, another winner will be chosen.
- Entries can be submitted until Thursday, March 12th, 11:59PM ET. Good luck!
- Full rules can be found here.

Homina, homina, homina.
I need one of dem fancy new cameras.
here's how I'd fix the recession,
I'd get rid of taxes, and start drilling the alaskan oil and sell that stuff for cheap, not too cheap mind you, but cheap enough to screw over the competition, then I'd stop government spending on almost everything, turn it into a model where the states govern just that state, and can pick and choose what they want to uphold from federal government, but if they wish to participate in any government programs, the states must pay the federal government, this would include things like military bases, federal courts, etc.. and for the every day people instead of seeing federal and state tax, they'd only see a larger state tax.
Then while cashing in on the oil, take some of the funds and start developing a system to turn all oil based ignition systems into something else entirely in a cheap and efficient manner, then when oil runs out, sell this method at a high price to other countries.
i want this

OK, the objective is to propose a way to fix world economy. Lemme put my macro-glasses on, guys. :)
GADGET AFFICIONADO RECESSION SURVIVAL PLAN
Global recession is caused by many many different factors, among them pyramid fraud schemes turned business strategies (derivatives, loan system abuse), overproduction, and, well, end of the USA-USSR power struggle (loooong forgotten by major population). All based on "I don't give a damn" philosophy, i think.
Then, well, give a damn, at least for yourself. No anticrysis strategy based on "if everyone be this good it's gonna be allrite" is viable. Everyone won't be this or that, we everyones have our own share of personal interests. So maybe - just maybe - strategy based on this personal interest will work.
Analyse, look around, try to understand what's good for you then shift perception an expectation, rule your own preferences, be your own guide. Don't lull yourself, don't let youself get involved in rat race.
Try to understand what you need, why you need it and what will it cost.
This applies both to financial stuff. Hello, I'm 25 y.o. and I owe wold less than 2000 dollars. No,really. Sustainable and frugal, LOL. But i have no car, no plasma, no rolex and i wear second-hand clothes, and I'm a college dropout. There's price on everything.
...and to gadget stuff. Choose for yourself. Will it work for you? Do you really need advanced functions? Rugged or elgant design? Can you fix it yourself? Will you _need_ to? Do you really need FOSS software or maybe it's a waste of time to learn how to tune the geeky stuff?
Don't seek universal solution. Don't let marketing sections or opensource evangelists set your grails. Bake your own pies in the sky. Care your own business. Then, maybe, you won't go down with the macro-level crysis.
