cut and paste still an issue for the 'world changing revolutionary' phone .. a gazillion dollar plan for text messaging but no MMS .. time to step up your game Apple .. before PALM sends you to the PRE- historic era
Although i've managed other functions such as multi-tasking and task manager on my iPhone...stuff like MMS and copy-paste have not consistently worked on the iPhone like they did on the Tilt.
Still, i'm rather happy with my buy and am hoping simple stuff like MMS and copy-paste would be available via update at 3.0 when it does release.
MMS... really? That's kinda 2002ish. I know it's a problem receiving MMS from people still using it, but really, iPhone has a great e-mail client and with an unlimited data plan, you can send messages for free.
What I don't get is that people don't complain nearly as much on the crippled Bluetooth, inability to forward text messages or send contacts or use your own ringtones (without fucking around with iTunes). This shows that most iPhone haterz haven't even used an iPhone sufficiently.
Owning one, I don't miss MMS nearly as much as I miss the ability to send and receive vCards or forward SMSes.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
