Yes, but I'm still not sure if its the router/internet connection or the PS3. I think it might be a spotty internet connection because my laptop has had issues a couple of times.

Never used the wireless on my PS3. My router is about 3 feet from the PS3!

My PS3 and laptop do not play nice with eachother, wired or not. It's totally random as well, nice to see I'm not alone in this.
