Dice speakers sure to be a fashion gamble

Buffalo's just unleashed some portable little iPod speakers that you might want to try to get your hands on. With an output of one hot watt, the Dice speaker series is sure to turn your morning commute into a tiny, slightly louder micro-party in an instant -- or, at the very least, it'll cool up your look a few notches. They'd make a perfect gift for the gambling addict in your life, too, but sadly, they're going to be a Japan-only release when they come out sometime next month for ¥ 2,814 (about $33). Check out another shot after the break.

Cute, but also proof that people will buy *anything* with an iPod dock connector hanging off of it.
I think I'm in the wrong business.
I think I like this, but it doesn't seem like these are easily kept from falling over.
Please...really?????
This should be filed under "crapgadget"
Thomas please...
Aren't we suppose to be considerate to other commuters and use sound isolation headphones ? ('.')
tell that to the jackass that has probably 10W speakers built into his bag I see.
Dicey business
I was going to make that pun :)
$33 for one freakin' watt...AND the possibility of getting my ass kicked by even appearing with that in public?
I'll stick with my Oakley Thumps, tyvm XD
I don't see why everyone is hating these so much. The offer speakers to ipods that don't have built in speakers. I know it isn't that fashionable but the use is there. speakers that don't require separate batteries for an ipod, could of used them alot when I was still in school trying to show people songs/videos and they had to hold a earpiece that I didn't want them to stick in their ear next to it/in it.
throw the die why don't you?
ba-dum chhhhh!
Also, you might want to check out iMu. It's a portable speaker that derives its sound from the surface on which it sits.
Meh... I'm happy with my lego block speaker.
