OCZ introduces Eclipse and Behemoth wired gaming mice
It's going to be tough for OCZ Technology to top its Z Drive, but clearly, it's not aiming to do such a thing just yet. Instead, it's setting its sights rather low with a somewhat plain duo of gaming mice. Both the Eclipse and Behemoth arrive with the ability to switch between four different profiles and with support for uploading profiles direct to the onboard memory. The former sports a "time-honored compact style" and sports a 2,400DPI sensor, while the latter is a bit beefier in size and touts a 3,200DPI sensor. There's no mention of pricing or availability for either, but you definitely won't be asked to pay a premium for cutting-edge design.

I don't want any more money. I've got as much as I need. Thanks for the offer though.
If only the back cover were transparent...
Please Engadget, could you ban "Me" or something? This spam is really annoying!
I'm seeing so many gaming mice come out with those little weights that you can shift around... does that -really- make a difference? Would you arrange the weights differently for different types of games? Do you really notice it if your mouse is a couple of grams lighter or heavier on one side, and does it really improve your abilities? Because it sounds like nonsense to me.
When your beating off attackers with your tool for hours at a time, you become acutely aware of its exact dimensions and weight. This awareness is essential if you want to shoot your load on target and on time.
At least, that's what I found when I was really into ET:QW .
I agree with j g.
Over time you feel it, as i found with my Logitech G5 v1.
-and shout out to a fellow ET:QW player!
The enemy is weakened!
Personally, I'm going for the Razor Mamba when I can.
To partially answer your question no I don't change out my weights, but I do like the mouse to have some weight to it. Regular old mice are to light it messes with precision. I am also one very weird person my G9 is set to max 3200DPI all the time. I like my mice with some beef and sensitive.
When I got my G5 first it took about two weeks until I got a comfortable weight setting in it so it felt just right. The G9 took a little less time since there were less combination's, but it is that customization and personalization that make these weight adjustable mice worth the money.

So technically, you're saying that you can buy any non-weighted Trust mouse, and just use it for hours, and you'll become aware to that mouse's dimensions and weight too, thus giving you the awareness you need, only for $100 less? That's what I thought.
Also, +1 for innuendo.
@ Fred
Yah, probly. I was mainly going for the innuendo, TBH. There's certainly nothing to stop you glue-gunning coins inside the plastic shell of your mouse. In fact, that's a pretty good idea. I'm going to do that this evening. Then I can get back to my frenetic pounding. Of the enemy.
Since when Design is the main selling point of a wired mouse? :/
Logitech G9 is the best!
...mouse I've used so far xD
No, Deathadder!
Or Mamba...
This looks identical to the Creative HD7600L. Did they just add the weights differently and rebrand?

I noticed the same thing because that's the mouse I use. It is a pretty good mouse by the way.
Wired? Seriously?
