limited edition Xbox 360 to someone at Engadget: stick it inside another box. Seriously -- the above picture is exactly how it arrived. Everything seems to be in working order, it's just a little disconcerting when a console lands on your doorstep looking like it was
actually in the hands and mouths of undead killing machines. Regardless, the new system is pretty spiffy in red (unless you hate the color red, in which case it looks horrible), and having a
Jasper unit in-house is probably more exciting than it should be. You can be sure that we'll figure out if everything is shipshape by playing hours and hours and hours of
Resident Evil 5. But for now, let's all enjoy the unboxing!

I seriously doubt that. First off, UPS likely wouldn't even accept it for shipping. Second, unless there is a second hidden label under that brown paper they would be taking a big risk in having that label fall off.
There is also the fact that most items sent through UPS get beat to hell in transit.

Had a friend pick up a new Arcade system and the weight of the power brick has dropped considerably, also some of the metal shielding is no longer in the connection to the Xbox 360 power plug. Wonder if that is part of the "fix" to the "ring of fire".
I normally don't dislike the colour red... but I still think it looks horrible.
Well, it would have gone better in a blood-red color rather than this bright red. It'd fit well with RE5.

It looks like IT spent a day in RES5. At least you got it in working order, the Sony repair place sent me back a BROKEN PS3 after I sent mine to be fixed. Horrible I say, the lacking that is the customer service or shipping departments at these businesses is awful! I am still waiting after a week for my other new refurb, if there is such a thing. Where the fuck is my PS3!?!
How do you know their refurb didn't break during shipping? Just because it arrived busted (which does suck) doesn't mean it shipped that way.

That totally looks like a UPS shipping method. They don't care about your package anymore. I also get something that looks like that when delivered by them. And plus, they don't knock on your door or anything. They just toss it to the front door. Sometimes I don't even know there is a package until I walk outside. Long story short UPS sucks, and this picture is clearly from UPS.
Move in japan. Best shipping system in the world. They actually have a sens of duty and honor, no kidding. They will add a box if they feel your item need more protection, they will change your boxe if its damaged in anyway, its incredibly fast and super cheap. I have send 4 full luggages (the biggest ones, fulls of books) for under 20$.
Ho and they will come back each 2 hours if you are not at home until they give you your package.
