Nokia shows off song-inspired Bluetooth headset designs

It didn't exactly cause that big a stir when it was first announced, but it looks like Nokia's Music Almighty headset design competition still managed to attract a respectable 6,000 entrants, and Nokia is now showing off the five winners that have been manufactured as fully-functional, one-off headsets. The hook of the contest is that all of the headsets had to be inspired by a song, which expectedly drew a whole range of designs from the stylish Daft Punk "Robot Rock" set above to feat of subtlety that is the R. Kelly "I Believe I Can Fly" headset after the break. Hit up the link below to check out the remaining winners, including not one but two Michael Jackson-inspired sets, and look for the whole lot to make their way to the Nokia Regent Street Flagship store in London next month.

wow...
The things that look like diamonds make the last one look stupid.
o_O
The winged ones make the first pair look good.
You know with falling stock and the economic woes, you think the company would invest in something a little more profitable...
I've heard about these...the R. Kelly model is powered by urine.
and their n810 doesn't even support stereo bluetooth
designed for Frankenstein, apparently
apparently someone watched my life as a babysitter too many times
Perhaps you mean Adventures in Babysitting?
Robot Rock ftw
2nd pair are the headphones of Thor.
"I Believe I Can Fly"... okay, I see the wings, but what's with the organ pipes over each ear?
Wings-Angelic-church-music-organ pipes.
See how they all fit together?
Those Robot Rock headsets look badass.
ROCK. ROBOT ROCK.
Thank god they're one off pairs is all I can say.
So now I need a new pair of headphones for each song I listen too?
Am I the only one who thinks the R Kelly 'phones are absolutely awesome? Forget the 'source material', and you've got something that wouldn't look out of place on either:
a. A Catwalk
b. Any Anime show where schoolgirls look hotter than they should.
cool
cool
Wow!! I wud luv to rock those DaftPunk headphones! Plz make 4realz!
I wud honor them by playing Alive 1997 all the way through for their virgin listen.
In my opinion, the first ones look too flat to be very comfortable.
Instead, I want the R. Kelly headphones, but minus the organ pipes and trumpets, and modified so that I can have the band go over my head instead of behind it, as well as have the speaker parts fit on my ears like aviator headsets.
That ain't funny no more. Really who is gonna buy that thing? They look hideous. o_0
I'd buy the Daft Punk ones.
Same here - if they added a little padding along the inside of the top. Makes my bluetooth set look ... old.
Also, mine pulsate blue, which is really annoying in a dark room. If these dont have lights on them , im in.
steampunk headset plz
cool, a Brazil the movie themed headset
