Just joking. That handset has a hell of a lot of features so it would have to be somewhat of a brick. If you don't mind the size and weight, what's the problem. This are the features Koreans want in a cellphone and they're getting it. Will it dethrone the iPhone? Yeah, in S. Korea and Japan where the iPhone doesn't stand a Buddhist prayer. That handset will never see the light of day in the U.S. One problem the Koreans are having now is the discontinuation of free T-DMB TV due to their crashing economy.

The reason that the iPhone is doing terribly in Korea is because it's not being sold... the only iPhones in Korea are either foreigners who bring them into the country, or jailbroken iPhones.

That camera on the iPhone is getting old quick...and the fact that it doesn't support video recording is just laughable.
Apple, listen up....how about dropping a nice camera on the Touch, doing some 720P video action...and while your at it, let's go with OLED for longer battery life.

I'm the average consumer , I wouldn't hesitate to drop $700 on iPhone. Oled ? Avg consumer won't give shhh about that . 720 p? Just put that on the wish list, not happenin. Even with lack of basic features iPhone has ben dominant on a global scale, success us measured by sales here in depression stricken 2009.

iPhone could use a better camera and video recording for those who care, but this megapixel race is stupid. Frankly, the problem with the camera on my first-gen iPhone is sensitivity/aperture and accurate color recording, not pixel count.
The 6.3MP D50 on my chair would blow this Samsung phone out of the water in terms of picture quality, but, alas, it does not fit in my pocket.. nor can I make phone calls with it.

I usually don't do this but I'm going to have to give jinjin a big FAIL here. If all "white male eyed" people have a fetish for Asian women, then all "slanty male eyed" folks have a tall blonde with huge tits fetish (yeah, hurts to hear crap like that doesn't it?). Once again, refined is subjective. That is nice you have seen more Asians than most of us probably have, so you have a refined taste on what you like. I would not tout it as a standard. I grew up in a neighborhood populated mostly by Viets and a few Koreans, and did an embassy stint in SK so I've seen my fair share as well, but I'm not going to state outright I know what looks good over someone else. Yes you are correct, I have seen the blind Asian fetish, hell I've seen and heard worse but I think your punching it up a good bit too, and what you said was more of an out and out attack really. That was the main reason for my response, not because you said the girl's cheeks are chubby (which they kind of are, but it's still kinda cute really).
The my forum comment was really just me trying to poke fun at myself, cause of the perceived notion that we own it all and know best on everything (sound familiar?). Wasn't actually trying to make an in-group/out-group sort of thing. I assumed you were American or at least lived in America for a long time since I've never really heard anyone outside the States say anything about the whole Asian fetish thing. I try and keep it light since it is the internet (and the whole arguing on the net analogy to the Special Olympics...).

is it me or does the camera in the pic give a better result in terms of colour than the post pic?
that doesn't make sense at all. the colors represented on the phone are still being captured by the camera that took the posted photo. if anything the phones colors are off too because if you color corrected the posted photo, the screen of the phone would look just as off.
actually the cameraphone is capturing a better pic because its set for the type of lighting in the background where the posted pic is not set accurately. similar to the results you would get if you take a pick under a tungsten light when the camera is set for another type of light. on my eos 450D this is adjusted using the WB button. word.
