Engadget's recession antidote: win a 32GB iPod touch plus a free copy of iPodRip!

This whole global economic crisis, and its resulting massive loss of jobs (including the recent news that IBM seems to be planning another big round of layoffs) got us thinking. We here at Engadget didn't want to stand helplessly by, announcing every new round of misery without giving anything back -- so we decided to take the opportunity to spread a little positivity. We'll be handing out a new gadget every day (except for weekends) to lucky readers until we run out of stuff / companies stop sending things. Today we've got a 32GB Apple iPod touch plus a copy of "the ultimate iPod copy and transfer companion," iPodRip. Read the rules below (no skimming -- we're omniscient and can tell when you've skimmed) and get commenting!
Special thanks to The Little App Factory for providing the gear!

Then fire every State and Federal elected official for their lack of oversight, not paying personal their taxes, spending tax payers money foolishly
All State and Federal employee and elected official can only have Medicare as their health insurance - bet soon after we will have a great national health insurance plan.
All State and Federal employee and elected official child must go to public school; no priviate - bet soon there after we will have a great public school system.
All State and Federal employee and elected official are not entitled to pay increases (automatic or otherwise) unless their budget are submitted and approved on time and the previous years budget is balanced with no over spending.
All State and Federal Employee and elected official are not allowed to pass any law that has several other laws, regulations, ear marks, pet projects attached.
Get rid of all State, Federal, Local, Teachers, Industry Unions. It is impossible to fire the free loaders and non-productive employees and increases the cost of business to the point we are no longer competitive in the global market.

One single answer to fix the economy = Legalize Marijuana and sell it through ABC-like stores that are controlled by the gov. They could heavily tax the stuff and it would cost less then getting it off of the street. Not to mention you wouldn't have to worry about your kids or friends dying because the dealer sprayed it with insect repellent that wasn't meant for ingestion.
Who won?
Ermm... to fix the economy you guys need to be President (not hatting on Obama)...(really i'm not)
Anthor way to fix the economy would be to make a super music player using sony, apple, and microsoft

RE: One idea for helping our economy is to actually require the submisison of a "Thoroughly detailed and approved Roadmap" for any company, state, or private group asking for bailouts, loans, etc.
If they don't adhere to the submitted plan after receiving the money, they forfeit all rights to it, and must repay the total plus 50% the original amount.
