Not that we haven't seen nerdy wedding bands before, but for those who aren't really
enamored with networking, we've stumbled upon another option that's just too awesome to pass up. Granted, the sound wave bands have been around a finger or two, but really, how awesome is a wedding ring with an EQ interpretation of "I Do" engraved in it? We'll tell you -- really awesome. Moving on, we've got the 1981 Atari ring, a solid piece of kit sporting an original Atari chip splashed with gold or silver. Lastly, we've got
Cufflinks.com's latest, a set of Guitar Hero links that will undoubtedly make the faux rocker in your life grin from ear to ear. Dig in below for more details, but don't expect to purchase any of 'em but the last, and at $50 per pair, you should probably think twice.

It will take a special type of human being to wear these things...

Um, who the hell's going to recognize the "atari chip" on that ring?? If some one come on here and says "only the hardcore would know", just know that without the label, its just an unmarked IC. (which could be anything)
the perfect wedding ring. of course i would have to have a girlfriend that i would want to marry and to do that i would need a girlfriend and to get one of those i would need to be sexually attractive. Maybe i wont get those rings.
I'm even more of a nerd than I thought... I read EQ as "Everquest." And I'm a musician!
lmao me too Releaux. ah the good old days of everquest. Maybe they will have real rings in the EC tunnel first torch

Better hope these rings have +25 CHA, as you're gonna need it if you really wanna give you future wife that.
I also read Everquest.
lol, i've never even played EverQuest but that's what I thought of first as well. I was looking at them trying to figure out how the hell the game was related to what was on the rings. My first thought was maybe it was the outline of the map of the game.
Ah the Atari chip--gawd I thought it was a mini harmonica at first...
And what's so EQ about those rings? Are those Aug Slots and if so, are they type 7 or 8? I'm guessing 8 since to get married you must be hard core and the wife could be like a boss mob...
They're actually waveforms of people saying "I do" - not EQs. Cool nonetheless
I was wondering what the words were. "I do" makes sense. I was thinking it might have been the other person's name, which I think would be cool too...
Mm, they're waveforms definitely, not equalizer visualizations.
The tag earrings are a cute idea. Seems obvious, now.
I'm surprised engadget didn't put them in the gallery.
I want to have a reason to want those wedding bands. That's a pretty genius idea.
I love the EEPROM ring... That's awesome.
For law enforcement people there is a separate page with EA handcuffs.
..It is rumoured..
Even more nerdy.... I thought those rings had the Mandelbrot Fractal on them for a second.
Very great design. Beautiful.
