Why Ryan has so much hate for Vista?
I've been using it for about 7 months now, and haven't had any issues.
you should check out vista on intel's SSD's, that seems to be the missing vista piece really...
Check out this Palm movie from the web 2.0 expo. It explains some of Palms idea's with its cloud service. It has the ability to let the cloud get information about its users and then let it selectively target people with information. Its all using XMPP and I wouldn't be surprised if Palm built libPurple into this OS. The example was when the cloud get information about a car accident it can inform only people in the area of the accident.
Imagine a yard sale app and while your outdoing errands it notifies you that there is a garage sale coming up. Its an app you never launch, and is as trivial to your phone as receiving an sms.

I´d like to hear _some_ kind of explanation why Vista is so bad? and Josh, try to keep the subjectivity at a minimum, just state the facts.
Welcome to the world of Charlie Ergan's Sling. Charlie found a way to get everyone to buy new hardware (or so he thinks). As many Dish subscribers will tell you, Charlie will kick his customers to the curb if he thinks he can make more money.
