Nokia's E75 now shipping to eMail lovers, pixel haters
It's out, Nokia's E75 S60 QWERTY is now shipping according to a feverish Nokia press release. For Espoo, that leading "E" stands for businEss so this slider is all about corporate eMail -- a first handset to ship with Nokia's new eMail user interface -- as well as getting you connected to your personal accounts from Yahoo, Gmail, and Hotmail. Unfortunately, the decent quad-band GSM / EDGE and dual-band HSPDA data, WiFi, microSD expansion, 3.2 megapixel camera, and a-GPS specs are offset by that puny 2.4-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixel) display. For our money, we'll be holding out for the 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixel N97 QWERTY slider just peeped in the FCC, thankuverymuch.

You pick it, you keep it!
(I wish)
it's "you find it, you keep it"
The E would actually stand for Enterprise, wouldn't it? :P
the "E" stands for Sucks
What is it with Nokia and that worthless silver oblong they have for a d-pad? I swear, the down key on my E51 was already half-broken in the first week of use.
Well then, stop surfing pOrn on the tiny screen of the E51 and you won't have to scroll around so much.
What's that for logic? When you're surfing pr0nz you aren't scrolling, you're fapping....
I like the Nokia E series as they have pretty good battery life compared to other Nokia series. I just wish they have better camera (at least auto focus.
"For our money, we'll be holding out for the 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixel N97 QWERTY slider"
Um, guys, let's be honest: you folks at Engadget will never want any Nokia unless it has a fruit logo.
Ever getting tired of this bullshit?
Ever considered how unrewarding it must be for Engadget editors to write an article (about pretty much anything) and get accused each time of being Apple fanbois?
Seriously, where do you find an iPhone reference in this article?
Thankfully, there's no iPhone bias in this article.
However, it does reek of elitism. If a phone is not top of the line, Engagdet will automatically dismiss it.
As well they should.
Who the hell wants a sub-par phone? This is tech, not underachieving kids.
"Thankfully, there's no iPhone bias in this article."
It is indirect bias: "If this Nokia had a screen like that of the iPhone..."
"However, it does reek of elitism. If a phone is not top of the line, Engagdet will automatically dismiss it."
And I take it the iPhone is top of the line, yes?
Yeah Engadget seems to be the biggest Apple lover of all :)
And my Nokia E90, E71 and E66 all has autofocus so they allready have that. And the d-pad on my E71 is the best I ever used as it is the build quality compared to my HTC devices and my Iphone 2G
Lol, too many buttons.
+1
Does anyone know if it will do tethering? Either via Bluetooth or cable?
Of course it will, it's a 3g phone made outside North America.
every Symbian phone does
i'm not sure about other phones though, all the phones i owned since 2003 supported tethering
it'll probably cost 6 million billion dollars like every other recent phone.
we have more proof once again that nokia is now officially a lowend cell manufacturer.
And they wonder why people lost interest,.LOL!
Low end? Maybe you should check again the specs on this 400€ phone. MId-range maybe, but only completly clueless idiot would describe it as low end.
Nokia makes phones that cover every segment of the marketplace. And, this phone is not "low end" by any definition of the word. The E series are for business (i.e. enterprise) users, therefore it's specs reflect their needs; they're not the techies that one would find here on Engadget.
If you want high-end from Nokia, then start looking at the N series. Oh, and be prepared to dig deep into your wallet for it also. ;)
I'm not seeing the point of this phone. Nope. Just not seeing it.
Email?
I doubt that you'd buy one even if you did.
shouldn't the title read "...pixel lovers"? I mean, at 320x240, that's all you're ever going to see is pixels.
I like it, but I would want to play with it before I bought it, but no where to do that at, so I guess Im screwed
It's weird for such a small screen to have a huge side slide
