I got this phone with AT&T in Jan. paid $125 when I renewed my contract
i had to do a double-take and make sure it wasn't a typo...just to make sure...this is NOT a Touch Diamond TWO, right?
Touch Diamond ONE...at $299...WITH contract???
Hey Verizon: ROFLMAOLOLOLOLOLHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...........!!!!!!!
really...fire whoever is responsible for this pricing joke.
Woah - are those directional arrows around the D-pad? I don't know of any current Diamond to have cursor-arrow ability on the hard key pad (i.e. up down left right). Is this for real? Cause that'd be a sweet upgrade.
They're just there to show that that's a d-pad... it has the touch-sensitive ring though.
o heeeellllzzz noooo! jumpin the big V ship for S n the PRE!
late, with a locked down GPS, and half the RAM of the Sprint of Alltel version. Verizon does it again.
It does have a MicroSD slot, though.
I've been with Verizon for over 10 years and you would think after buying Alltel they could invest in better phones. Boy if it wasn't for the service!
I am in the same boat.
Where I am from (Western New York), Verizon has, by far, the best service.
My friend who lives across the street from me gets service in his house, but when he comes to mine, he gets no reception. He lives literally across the street (it makes no sense). My other friend who currently has an iPhone drops calls with me ALL the time. I know its not me, because I am calling from my room, and he is the only person I drop calls with. T-Mobile doesn't have 3g in my area as well. From what I have heard, Sprint is pretty decent in my area, but the fact that I am on a family plan (my entire family has Verizon) makes getting a Pre (or any other phone for that matter) incredibly expensive.
Damnit, Verizon.
DO NOT buy this phone! nothing buy issues on my Sprint version even after getting not one but 2 replacement phones the same hickups still exist. this phone will frustrate you to no end. When working correctly is a cool phone, but I have had to reset it daily since I got it....and oh how I regret ever getting one.
way too much and way too late. as a VZW customer this is not for me
are the photographs of the people coming out of the phone?! cool...its 3D! haha
Verizon. We are leaving in droves...
Now who wants to buy one and report back if the faceted back fits on the Sprint version?
wow i want this...too bad im an iphone user with At and t lol
Agree totally the phone is overpriced and late to the party. I too have a Moto Q which frankly is adequate for now. 6 months ago i would have jumped but now we'll wait for the Diamond 2. Doesn't make sense that the touch pro is only $10 more. There's some confusion over the specs which will clarify upon the release. i believe there is a card slot and Sprint level memory. Any Diamonds in the pipeline should be dumped for no more than $100 and the Diamond 2 release accelerated. Some rumors have the Diamond 2 coming to Verizon in May - probably unrealistic but I'd consider that at $200 to $250. Keep in mind that 3G is no big deal. Data speeds will not significantly improve until 4G is widespread on your next phone after this upgrade.

Aaah...iphone users...so defensive.....and naive.
You wonder why SLINGPLAYER MOBILE is taking so long to release.
Much prefer my Omnia....
Full features - e-mail, internet, GPS, photos, all the connections you will need. Looks great, can carry in a pocket without knowing it's there. It avoids many problems of the i-Phone. But problems with almost every feature that I expect will be worked out in superior phones in the next year or two.
