Why would anyone give this a second thought, when they have the much cheaper ($99 now?) Omnia as an option w/8GB built in storage, and a larger screen????
While most of your points are correct, built in storage is NOT a plus. An 8GB microSD card costs $15 and you always have an option of getting the 16GB for $45 or less in a couple months. Built in storage is not replaceable and just plain old bad. The iPhone costs $100 more to go from 8GB to 16GB yet the cost to go from an 8GB to 16GB microSD card is $30.
The Rip is the latest addition to the Boogie eWriter line, devices that let you scribble notes and drawings and can be wiped away with the press of a button.

The Omnia does have 8gb of built-in storage, but it also has an expansion slot allowing you to get to 24gb.
The Omnia is back up to $199 now...
