Apple releases iPod Shuffle VoiceOver Kit 1.0.1 upgrade

You know what really gets on our nerves? When we're listening to Van der Graaf Generator (look it up!) on our newfangled iPod Shuffle and it pronounces the band's name wrong. Seriously, this is an important function. Without it working flawlessly, how are we going to know the names of the tracks we purchased on the iTunes store and placed on the device ourselves? Thankfully, someone at Apple has heard our prayers, and as of today the VoiceOver Kit 1.0.1 is available via Mac OS X software update (we're assuming that it'll pop up on the company's website at some point). The 17MB download corrects pronunciations for several artist names, as well as correcting a few "minor bugs." What bugs? Apple hasn't said. They also haven't said which names will now be pronounced correctly in that cold, robotic voice, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that Klaatu is among them. Remember Klaatu? They were pretty sweet.
How many Gen 3 Shuffles do you think Steve Jobs could shove up his ass? :)

Kurt, dude, not cool. Seriously, NOT cool at all. Show some respect to Steve Jobs; the man did more change to this world than you can ever imagine, and his health issues are nothing but a result of the strong stresses he passed by in his life; from forming a company, to losing his baby company, to standing up after his great depression, then holding on his back some of the worst years in Apple's history to become a worldwide competitor on many levels while dealing with thousands of people that couldn't get or understand his distant vision.

I just tried the Mac OSX Updater and the iTunes Updater...neither found any updates. :-(
I just bought a refurbished Sandisk Clip for $20. How much does the Shuffle cost and why is it so much better than anything else out there?

There's so many languages missing, so an update really does nothing, or maybe Apple thinks we should only listen to the artist coming from the countries their player supports language wise. That said, I don't like the display-less design anyway, so this isn't phasing me a bit, shame for those who bought it tho.
It just works...better after the update.
First, you complain that the shuffle is too compromised and not good enough for actual use.
