Moisture and Oxygen are not good to OLEDs...
From memory, might be wrong, the reason OLEDs haven't already replaced LCD/PDP is that the lifetime is still not that great (esp. blue) this may be due, in part, to the moisture/O2 ingress... that and the high price! ...early adopters always end up paying for the R&D costs of bringing a new tech to the market :-(
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
