HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas
While we still don't have an official release date for HTC's Touch Pro2 here in the states, the folks at Russian site Mobile-Review have managed to get some extensive hands-on time with the unit. Props go to the quality of the voice calls and especially the QWERTY keyboard, noted via the machine translation as one of the most user-friendly in modern mobile devices. The same is not said here, however, for the plastic casing and steep pricing. They also don't really touch on TouchFlo 3D 2.0.XX -- that's apparently coming later in another article -- but hit up the read link for a plethora of pictures and a video of the updated UI in action.

The keyboard does look nice.
UI dont thin kthis is a worthwhile upgrade to the touch pro. They got rid of the LED for the camera, they got rid of the hardware d-pad below the touch screen and they didnt update the specs.
Also the new touch flo is available for free for the touch pro from xda-developers.
So why bother with the touch pro in the first place? The bigger screen wont help if they didnt fix the graphics hardware problem.
I meant why bother with the touch pro 2
LOL @MS. They translated "Calls" into Russian as "Summons".
How are you guys reading these reviews in English? I get them in Russian and can't find them when I switch to the English version of the site.
dear microsoft in redmond,
i really digg your wimo os itself and the fabulous exchange support, but please, fire your current wimo user expierence team and let the guys over at htc handle this, would ya? i mean seriously, wtf are you up to doing all day long in redmond? those htc guys are popping out one nice ui after the other and when i look at the baked wimo 6.5 rom i got from xda developers and compare it with the touchflo2 i mostly wanna puke my balls out.
regards,
chris
The Hell with a 3.5mm Headphone jack, HTC's already have enuff battery draining issues. Thats what Ipods, Zens, and Zunes are for...
JUST GIMMIE THE FRONT FACING CAMERA!!
Lets hope T-Mobile doesn't mess this one up. I like this phone.
To everyone who always complains about no headset jack, do you have absolutely no other portable music device, or is it that you absolutely must have an all-in-one device?
please Please PLEASE ... T-Mobile and HTC, make an Android version of this phone!
