BeBook 2, unfortunately, but Endless Ideas' official Twitter has released an image of a smaller variant of its current e-book reader, dubbed the BeBook mini. It's got a 5-inch e-ink display and reportedly all the same features as its older brother. Manufacturer Tianjin Jinke Electronics also happens to sell products under the Hanlin brand, and this looks to be the same device as the upcoming Hanlin v5, which according to Chinese site
mobread would indicate SD card support and a May release window locally. As for elsewhere in the world, there's no indication of a release date, but BeBook Twitter feed did tease about staying under the $

Oh the USD and Euro are equivalent now? Who knew.

Apparently 1 EUR ≈ 1.32 USD, this is probably just simple pricing instead of saying 200.00 EUR/265.20 USD or 200.00 USD/150.90 EUR
The euro is 1 dollar+19% tax+19% markup for hiring personal that expects all benefits = $1.32.
They look extremely cheap - and since the apparently much better Sony PRS-505 is available for around 220€ in some places, I don't think that the BeBook's "sub 200€" (meaning 199€ most likely) price is all that great...
If they stay under $200us, I'll buy one. Only thing missing then is a light.

It's the same 800x600 pixels of the 6" display. So if your eyes are sharp enough, you should be able to set the font so just as much text is displayed.
