Damn, if only it was $20.21. Looks like it is over my budget!
"But it's just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
Cause I'm Mr. Brightside"
Does anybody else feel that "Cthulhu Edition" would be more appropriate for the lime green version?
I'm coming out of my cage
And I've been doing just fine
...Gotta gotta be down
Because I want it all
It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a [USB keyboard light]
It was only a [USB keyboard light]
I will take the Shub-Niggurath black one please.
Jenny was a friend of mine, or was it somebody told me that Mr
Brightside was on top. I said believe me natalie after all these
things that I've done, everything will be alright and you'll change
your mind. She said Andy you're a star, can I take you to the
midnight show.
wow...whats with all the lame rap?
A standard feature on a Thinkpad.
Fn + PgUp is all you need to activate the light!
It's The Killers, Mehdi
For a pack of 3 it's 20 dollars but for one it's 8.99 i want a lime one.
The Mr. Brightside is really cool and it's not $20.22. That's for the bundle pack of 3. It's actually only $8.99 (and I think totally worth it!). Check it out on Bigger & Brighter (www.biggerandbrighter.com).
Have you ever found yourself furiously FAPPING in the dead of night wishing your keyboard had its own personal light?
>>Fixxd
No.
My keyboard does have it's own illumination. Cause i have the Saitek Eclipse 3 Keyboard.
nope.. use a MBP
Monsters INC
I sue you sir.
i saw what u did there.
My mother bought this, she hated it. She said it didn't work right, not providing enough light to view her keyboard in the dark. Apparently it's to should to illuminate the entire keyboard. I gave he an old kensington USB snake light that did the job.
Correction: Apparently it's to should to *Short* to illuminate the entire keyboard.
nt man
Double fail!
looks like an over sized booger
Dear Laura,
Please stop posting Crapgadgets as actual posts.
Thank you, that is all.
Well said, my friend!
or at least put a crapgadget tag.
Yeah, some of the crapgadgets have better devices.
Yeah, that's THREE for $20.22.
These need to be blue or white. Then they could double as Andorian antennae.
it's kind of sad how many mistakes we can find
I feel like they recycled the old Game Boy "snake lights" and stuck a USB connector on the end.
man, i had so many lights for my game boy over the years but they had a much smaller area to illuminate.
I, on the other hand, have a great keyboard light. it also doubles as a great monitor.
You mean there's people on Engadget who don't touch-type?
My thought exactly.
Unfortunately, after twisting it around to get the light where I need it the light stopped working... great idea but poorly made...
...You actually bought this?!
I got one for my MacBook Pro.
congratulations!
How useful!
My MBP has backlit keys. Did you miss out or something?
Due to the location of my usb ports, this will just get in the way...
I can see where this would be useful.
... Except I have a Thinkpad.
well this little gadget was about 4months too late for me, i got a macbook pro, and i wouldn't be caught dead with one of those on my lappy.
Very useful for my netbook but thats expensive, makes me just want to DIY something myself with an LED
These kinds of things should not be more than $3.00, giving them still a healthy profit.
I just can't look, it's killing me.
Currently at Staples in new york for $9.
We've been selling these for ~6-7 months at Staples. Running $8.98. Typical POS lane-blocker trash. Throws light about 2 inches (radially). I thought they were stupid when they first came off the truck, and every customer who's returned one (most) has confirmed the theory.
Good thing my years-old Thinkpad T23 has a keyboard light built in.
