A small correction for your title: MSFT says that there will be only one RC. So we don't really need to identify this RC with a number. At least that is what they say! ::)
I sell PCs. The biggest complaint I hear about Vista after "I have heard it is full of problems" (which I have to explain why it was slow and buggy when it came out because it was installed on systems with 512MB RAM and loaded up with other crapware...)
is "I don't want to learn something new, everything is all different".
Windows Vista SE will be about as well received as Vista currently is.
Apple did a good job to kill off small businesses who were trying to sell Windows Vista systems (with which I have RARELY seen a problem) and I'm sure they will pick Vista SE apart too and falsely cause people to believe that it is a cappy, buggy OS.
BTW I don't like Vista SE's new taskbar. Too blocky and chunky looking.
