i would really prefer the DX (except its way too pricey) having used the Kindle 1. i also bought a 700 series sony for my dad ... take my word for what its worth, you need bigger screen for any technical document... its very similar to a book. how many paperback do you see for say statistics that come out in the 'standard novel' size ... btw, i sold my kindle for the very same reason ... also in the market are the less known ones .... like BeBook (and clones -- not sure if this itself is a clone) .... psr 505 is the best in my opinion for casual reading .... any technical docs or books and you need the DX (and i hate it that amazon has a kill switch).
