A look back on popular stories from today in a specific year.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
First, the Zune jokes are lame. I see almost as many Zunes as I do iPods. Seriously.
Next, Im sure it has iPod support, and Im sure it has an AUX port. Pretty much everything does. Its just nice to see the Zune get some love.
Lastly, where can I get one without buying the entire car? I would love to have actual integration with my Zune, so I wouldnt have to use AUX and I could have controls from my steering wheel.
This is a smart move, since the more support the more likely it will sell to anyone. If I was in a debate over which car to buy, and one had Zune support, it would definitely help.
Again, if everyone could be reasonable and remember that it WILL have have iPod support, and will more than likely have an AUX port.
Does it support playback of Zune Pass tracks? A lot of car stereos support Zune as an MP3 player via the USB jack, but they don't support Zune Pass tracks.
I personally love the "Zune" .. it's general disdain by the public makes it the perfect stealth iPod
case.

My Zune 30 was stolen. Might want to think twice about shelling out for that.
My Zune 30 was stolen as well back in September, 2 weeks after Hurricane Ike. I'm still angry I just allowed myself to get my stuff stolen like that.

I love the Australian Zune comment. You know what guys? How many Camaro's do you REALLY think Chevy is going to sell in Australia? Three? Five? And all the people that are laying out the 100 grand AUS for it I THINK just might be able to afford having a Zune shipped in. Jesus people are ignorant.

Why do people on here think no one uses Zunes? I know one person with a old skool 30gb ipod and about 6 people with a Zune includeing me. I think they function and sound a lot better than the Ipod. I dont understand why you would even choose a ipod over the Zune? Clearly you aint used both. Even the zune software is much better than itunes. Sometime i just wonder if people by ipods because it ment to be "Cool" to own one!
Yeah I agree. People I know that have iPods don't get the WOWs and AWESOME! I do with my Zune. With the new Zune coming out, I don't see why those WOWs would stop. iPods now a days is like doing the same thing for the rest of your life while the Zune brings out excitement.

I'm not a Apple/MS fanboy or hater... but it seems "cool" now days to hate on these companies... who gives a *****. The point is ipods are more popular then Zunes and it's a bad move for GM to go against a much needed HUGE ipod fan base. The lest GM needs now is to piss buyers off and they aren't pissing off too many buyers if they wen't with ipod integration instead.

Actually it does have iPod support.
My 2009 Pontiac G8 GT has a front AUX port w/ a 3.5mm jack. The 2010 Camaro has the 3.5mm jack and USB. So both iPODs and Zunes are supported. What's wrong with that?
Ok I am sick of this "nobody has a zune" crap. All you Apple fanboys should not be talking, how about this? Who has a Mac? I know maybe one or two, the rest? All PC Users. Years ago, the Mac was at where the Zune is now. It's only going to keep growing.
Not sure if anyone posted this yet. I dont want to read through all the bickering. GM already said it would support the iPod, the Zune was the unknown factor. If it supports both, good for them for supporting both. My Charger supports the iPod and I love it, i've been considering the new Camaro, and knowing it supports both is a definite plus for me.
This will really close some deals....ugh

I'm glad the Camaro SUPPORTS BOTH, but the question really is... is it logical to use? I'd hate to see it all ruined (like BMWs take on the ipod interface, on cars without iDrive) by a crappy dot-matrix LCD. That Camaro display doesn't make me too hopeful...
Then again this is better than the Ferrari Scuderia 16M interface where the iPod Touch slots into the dash, and you use its touchscreen. I mean, in a car as stiff and fast as a Scuderia, how the hell are you going to use a tiny touch screen??

Being a Zune owner and a GM fan, i really like this because the only other system that supports zune is ford sync. But people do need to understand that it supports Zune and IPod and also has an Aux port.

Why the hell would they put Zune support in cars coming to Australia when the Zune is not even sold here? Even if they did decide to release the Zune in Australia it would only be a case of Microsoft pushing shit up hill.
