HTC Snap snapped with larger battery, Sprint insignia, June 7th launch date?
Looks like HTC's giving Sprint its own version of the Snap, albeit with some slight modifications compared to the T-Mobile variant. According to the snapshots from PPCGeeks, all specs are pretty much identical except for a 1500mAH battery in place of the 800mAH, a revived Inner Circle, and a potentially nonexistent WiFi component. It also looks like the middle unit has been changed to a more traditional d-pad configuration. The forum poster who uploaded the pics claims it'll launch for a hair under $150 on June 7th, which would be rather odd should another high-profile release date rumor pan out.

Yeah, I bet less than 5 ppl will get this phone. Palm Pre anyone?!
While true, they are nice filler to pass the time while we wait.
Precious will be ours shortly. We must wait.
Agreed, the world isn't going to be set on fire by yet another candybar phone.
I want a Pre now. So badly. Don't botch this one, Sprint.
As long as Exchange is being used by business, and until phones like the iPhone and Pre show that they can be competent with the active-sync push interface, phones like this will still sell for people like me who need work email.
I'm sure the Pre will be great, but it remains to be seen whether or not it can be secure enough for business email applications (remote wipes, etc). The iPhone setup was a little disappointing, but I'm sure they're working on beefing up the security and giving emails separate signatures, a huge downside if you want both work and private email on it.
Most geeky business users will just wait for the TP2 world phone from Sprint though. ;)
This phone is will be a big seller among business users which is the largest market for smartphones.
Yup. Come June 7th all of the 1st half phones will be out. Good to see their stickin to the roadmap.
Its also good to see Sprint FINALLY has some low end smartphones like At&t. For $150 Ill buy this to hold me over till the Tour is Out.
Considering im Tired of touchscreen phones i will pass on the Pre...and this will have a much more useable Keyboard anyway.....
My thoughts EXACTLY. My Touch Diamond is slick, but the battery is horrid and I'm over touchscreen keyboards.
Hopefully this guy isn't as brick-ish as the Moto Q9C
The Pre looks cool but I refuse to give up my SERO plan to get one.
Well it's a followup to the T-Mobile Dash, which was probably the most elegantly small smartphone I've ever used. It's about as thin as an iPhone, but slightly smaller, and it just fit in your hand or pocket really well. If this is the same shape, it's definitely not brickish in the least. I miss that phone.
hope the pre is worth the wait.
HTC Snap should go for a bit less... It's coming up against many much, much stronger contenders....
haha, I dare someone to camp outside the Sprint store on June 6th. Then when the manager asks if you are waiting for a Pre, get all up in his face and say "I want a motha-fuckin HTC Snap!"
lol

Oh snap!
This phone is as sexy as I am.
So it's not sexy at all?
The Internet Explorer icon on the phone tells me 1 thing -- garbage.
Eh, it tells me "Windows Mobile"...
Strangely, WinMo allows people to use multiple browsers...
Strangely, WinMo allows people to use multiple browsers...
I think that whole anti-trust thing a few years back took care of that.
No, that only allowed you to remove IE.
sprint + htc = fail
trust me i have sprint diamond and is the worst phone i have ever had
and the htc touch on the sprint is the worst phone ive seen
Uhh... Calculator. Fancy!
i love how this thing was able to go from homescreen to opening camera, to picture taken within like 3 seconds. amazingly fast.
