without hunting down a WiFi connection first. In an even more bizarre twist, it turns out Vanna White sued Samsung back in 1993 for using a robot that looked like her (pictured) in an advertisement. You may be a "geek girl," Vanna, but we bet your robotic doppelganger is using VOIPover3G with SlingPlayer on her Jailbroken iPhone right this second. Too bad her "Love of Gadgets" doesn't extend to a "Knowledge of Gadgets", or she'd know that 3G Slinging is easy on Windows Mobile, Palm, Blackberry, and Symbian devices. She should get herself a Real-Smart phone. One with a longer battery life, better reception, cheap and free apps, open software development not ruled by a censorship loving "App Store".

Yea, I'm sure she'd want Windows Mobile. She'd love that solid blue screen it displays that won't go away until you reboot & how you can hardly do anything without running into the DrM restrictions that written everywhere in its code. I'm sure she'd want a once dominant Mobile OS that is predicted to be installed on less than 12% of the Mobile phones sold in the next few years, down from over 30%. I'd even go so far as to suggest you're probably one of those people who think that "Windows 7" is a new OS & not just a Vista Service Pack that MS is making us pay for.

All you Apple fanbois ever do is bitch about blue screen this, blue screen that. FFS, in my 20+ years of using windows, ONCE, have I had this screen you all hold as some end all for windows. And that was due to a graphics card, not Windows specifically.
If you cant use/handle Microsoft's OS properly, I suppose going to something more pedestrian like Apple's OS' is necessary.
In short, don't hold your inabilities against Microsoft or those that know how to use it.

Using slingplayer on 3g.... pretty much unusable. Pauses and says optimizing every 5 to 15 seconds. Dammit ATT network. Ugh
