Up early on a Sunday? Take a minute to check out the first edition of
CBS News Sunday Morning broadcast in high definition, as Charles Osgood anchors the annual "By Design" episode. That means your HDTV will see lots of home tours, a peek into the UCLA Medical Center checking out doctors that are remaking disfigured faces and a report on how retirement is changing for more active elders. Us? We're going back to sleep, two NBA Game 7's and the start of the NHL conference finals make this day a marathon, not a sprint.
That sun always creeped the hell out of me.
Haha, Yes. I happened to be up this morning to see that.
CBS Sunday Morning is my favorite show! Sometimes.
just now? many cities have had their local news in HD well over a year. In some places it's been two+ years. this national show is just now making the switch?
Well, it's about time! This is one of the shows that needed HD the most.
Speaking for all those who care about good English spelling, I'm appalled by "...two NBA Game 7's and...". Is it really that difficult to get your apostrophe and letter "s" right? For the record, there should not be an apostrophe there and don''t give me the whole "It's a Sunday morning" routine.
Well, KOTV didn't air it in HD in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Neither did KSWT here in Yuma, AZ. Because they don't air ANYTHING in HD yet. Frickin' Pappas...
I've got a season pass on the TiVo for this sucker. The best way to watch this show is to record it on Sunday morning and then go back and watch the first 5 minutes. If you don't see anything you're interested in, delete it. If there's one or two stories, jump right to them, watch them, then delete it. It's wonderful.
Love this show. Great to hear that it's in HD now.
Did anyone notice the male nudity on that episode? I couldn't believe it! The shot was from behind, but as he was jumping off the houseboat, you could CLEARLY see other bits of his anatomy flopping around. I cannot believe they aired that on a Sunday morning with no warning.
I have been watching CBS Sunday Morning since January 28, 1979. This has been my favorate program on TV, however; on your new HD Show May 17th, when you showed Tina Faye as the "new" look in eye glasses, this is where you loose me. We all know it is Sarah Palin who is the "new" look in her eye glass design, I did see you showed her picture for a second, not good enough. I, also, do not watch Katie Curic. What is Happening to my "CBS Sunday Morning"?
