Nokia N97 NAM launching June 2nd?

The Nokia Blog's got it on good authority that the Finnish phone maker's giving its North America distributors the heads up to expect the N97 to arrive on June 2nd for $699, although that price might end up lower. We've been hearing an expected June launch for some time, so it's definitely not out of the question. This does, however, serve as both an exciting and somewhat painful reminder that, should a couple other rumors pan out, June's gonna be a busy month for smartphones.

Geesh! What to do? Pre, New iPhone, Samsung i7500, N97, Storm 2, MS Pink, HTC Sapphire, HTC Morrison, Touch Pro2, Tegra, and others. Sure would be nice if one of these blogs would put up a matrix of the hot new smartphones comparing all the various goodies. My head is about to explode, trying to keep up with all the details.

Nokia has made so many crappy phones, that I would never risk buying a smart phone from them. Stick to Samsung, they know what they're doing.

According to gsmarena.com, last week if you preordered an n97 it was $524.

I expect great things from this phone, and hopefully will get one, i'm just waiting until it's first firmware update, nokia has disappointed me lately by not getting things right from the get go.
