MSI Wind U200 gets the hands-on video treatment

We already got a pretty good look at MSI's new 12-inch Wind U200 at its debut at Computex in Taipei, but the folks at NewGadgets.de have had a chance to spend a bit more quality time with the not-quite-a-netbook, and they've thankfully provided a hands-on video (in both English and German no less). While they aren't offering much in the way of actual impressions just yet, they do provide a fairly thorough overview of the device, and even discover a working SIM card slot in the battery compartment, along with a mysterious rubber plug on the side that may or may not actually conceal something. Head on past the break to check it out for yourself, or hit up the link below if you're looking to practice your German.

FIRST
This is so Perez Hilton...enuf of the first already! Grrrr!
So are we now to hear in the comments about how this is not worth consideration since it isn't powered by Ion?
The original Eee701 had a 7" screen in 2007. Netbook screen sizes are growing at a rate of 5" every 2 years. Not long now, until we see 17" netbooks....
I dont think they are calling this officially a netbook.
Nice so how does the speed compare to the atom? better , worse, same?
I might be in the market for this, I would like something like a netbook, but with a bigger screen a little faster and thats it, maybe better battery life. Problem is most 12 inch netbooks are in the price range of a real notebook with a core2duo
The Celeron is a little bit faster, its also capable of playing Youtube HD: http://www.newgadgets.de/2460/hd-playback-auf-dem-msi-wind-u200/
I think its FUGLY
This test unit seems spots a Windows 7 RC.
Kind of great if it comes pre-installed on the release version.
This is the closest thing to a netbook I'd touch. But damn, it's ugly.
Get some decals and paint at the auto shop
I don't think it's ugly: Here are some pictures of it: http://www.newgadgets.de/2431/msi-wind-u200/
Intel Celeron? duh
Mysterious rubber plug eh, finally a receptacle to hold your weed, and finally a manufacturer that realises students use portable computers :)
I thought the whole point of netbooks and their Atom processors was mainly about portability and low power consumption, and now they put a Celeron in a 12inch laptop and call it a netbook! Come on!
What's the battery life again?! 30 minutues? :D
It's a ULV you dork!
