The Pre-Rec would be good. I use my cameras to shoot and edit videos. Sometimes, however, someone else has to operate the camera and I always tell me them to give around three seconds of recording before starting the scene (easier to edit and gives you room to make the scenes flow). But no, three seconds to them is like half a second and when I plug in my camera to edit videos, the clips start off with the person halfway through their first word of their sentence already.
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
