Poll: Are you buying a Palm Pre?

So... it's official. Palm's wonder-device, the Pre, is hitting shelves on June 6th for $199 (after mail-in rebate). That begs the most important question of our generation (or of the week, at least): are you going to get one? What will be announced at the world wide developers conference of an iphone nature will be the new matte black shell, 8gb for 100 bucks, 16gb for $200 bucks, and 32gb for $400, and possibly a 24gb special edition near xmas time for $300, video capability will be added to the camera, along with video/pic mms. The cpu will shift to 5-600mhz processor with double the ram, with faster app switching built into the 3.0's software. Which will make iphone 8gb refurb for $50 bucks very plausible.

what may not be announce is OLED display, It may be possible that the screen changes to AMOLED. because Apple has a tendency to ration technology. 'just like palm is doing for the pre and the no microSD expansion slot' No fm radio will be added because apple doesn't make money on radio it makes it on itunes. And the camera will not change to 3.2mp.

I'd buy a Pre in a minute if I could put it on my SERO plan, but I can't, so I won't. Besides, I'm kind of getting into all the tweekability of WinMo.

The Pre may not be the iphone killer of palm fans dreams, but it's going to force apple to up its ante and actually do some major improvements to the ipos.

Oh WOW!!!!!! You all are fighting like you are in grade school. Does it REALLY matter with whom we have a contract with as long as that INDIVIDUAL person is happy with that carrier and the phone?!?! Why do you all have to dish out all this B.S. to one another? Yes some phones may have all the bells and whistles but a lot of the time people don't use all of the things that come with the phone. Man... what have times come to?????

what so great and exciting about palm pre?
is it because of it' low ass 320x480 resolutions?
reason i got 0 interests on iphone cus it' low ass resolutions!
i will never buy anything with resolutions lower then 800x480 WVGA!
i using sony x1 with 800x480!, that is almost the same resolutions just like your home pc monitor! haha

Id love to have a hands on comparison with the iphone when it comes out. Both phones are simply amazing! Gsm and SD card are a must!

I just spoke with a Sprint Rep via the Chat Feature and she advised me that the Palm Pre and HTC Touch Pro 2 will require switching from my Sprint FF 1250 plan to a ERP.
