That's extremely creative! I wonder if we can actually make a virtual character(just like in SIMS) actually do our work and display it on our monitors/screens. It can become the world's first speech to virtual action display interface on daily usable computing devices...
This is exactly how OS X works, doing one thing at a time while putting on a show ;) Notice the fancy progress bars and buttons? Definitely not Windows!
Nice concept, but boot time was quite slow, and it often hung on the progress bar. I suppose it'd be quicker waking from sleep than hibernate mode though.
I haven't seen Science of Sleep but the whole time I was thinking that it was very Michel Gondry who, unsurprisingly, directed Science of Sleep. Great little movie. I thought the music was perfect, by the way. It sounded like it could've been one of Octopus Project's more somber tunes.

MeowR- @ May 22nd 2009 9:00PM
@ Hawkman
I agree with you. This is why computers were so as large as rooms 20+ years ago. They all had people inside them doing the calculations.
Guess that's why they were so expensive too.
