Competition's a great thing, and I like seeing all the other products that are available (I see a lot traveling anyway), but you're always assuming North Americans are pining away for all these knock-off products, and they aren't - at least not en masse. If we were, we'd get them, that's how it works.
The Chromebooks are here, starting with Samsung's Series 5, a cute little number that promises instant-on access, 3G connectivity, and long enough battery life to web surf with the best of 'em.
