Ericsson and TeliaSonera reveals world's first commercial LTE site in Stockholm
Mmm, the sweet smell of mobile data burning up the pipes in the morning. Gets us every time. Evidently, the same aroma does something to the brains of Ericsson and TeliaSonera, who have taken their January agreement to the next level by introducing the planet's first commercial Long-Term Evolution (LTE) site in Stockholm, Sweden. Mind you, we've seen lots of trial runs over the past year and change, but this one's no test. Rather, this site will become part of a commercial network scheduled to go live in 2010, bringing wicked fast mobile transfers to Stockholmers everywhere. Now, let's hope these American carriers get jealous, and fast.

yet another reason i can say i need to go to sweden. also, is it me or does the picture on the camera differ from the pose real life scene (ie her hand, shadow and the position of the statue)?
it's not you.
That camera has some pretty amazing features. Making people open their eyes. Take better photos than a DSLR (If the real camera is an SLR.)
Maybe the picture on the phone is an already taken photograph. Or it's just a mockup. Or FAKED!!!!
lol that's the first thing I noticed..Either the person taking the photo of cam/girl forgot what aperture is or they need a tripod or they need to shoot @ a faster speed...looks a little mr.blurry cam
Unless someone starts paying up and a lot, don't expect your carriers to get jealous ;)
inb4 asking for it
^_^ I love living in Stockholm.
Heh, at most times I am just irritated by living in Stockholm (too cold weather, sucky night clubs etc), but every now and then there are theese moments too :). Now, just give us phones that support LTE.
kolizz: if you're such a tech geek, like all of us, that you get happy due to the fact we got 4g; why do you even care about the weather in the first place? :P
Man, the way you write articles, Darren... You must be burning some serious shit in your pipe, I wonder wha- waaaait.
How about Oslo's, Norway, 4G?
I am just glad that it's on the way so that we can enjoy the high speed networking. Unfortunately I doubt that for example the new iPhone will support the speeds.Though it's likely to do better than the current 3.6 ish mbit it can take now. :(
Damn i'd love to hit that brass statue's hat with a hammer, *GONG*
I see what you did there.
If I am correct VZW is rolling out LTE in 2010 which isn't that far away. The last sentence in the article implies that there are no US plans at all the get LTE rolling.
Where did you get that picture?
Wow. What news. Especially since TeliaSonera began rolling out LTE in Oslo, Norway last year... (wohoo)
You guy's couldn't even get the EU membership straight. How are you gonna figure out LTE?
Haaa Dudes, this picture was made in Kiev there is a doll theatre.
Damn I'd love to hit that girl with my hammer.
The USA is no longer a bastion of technological revolution. As far as tech is concerned, we are now a 3rd world country when compared to our European and Asian brethren. I just hope for the sake of the USA, our ISPs and mobile data providers wake up one day and realize just how behind the times they are.
Wow, you can capture image at a different time then the present now! Just check out the shadow and posture!
